Czech woman, Taiwanese man win Miaoli Triathlon

There was a triathlon in Miao Li over the weekend. A woman from the Czech Republic took home top honors for the women and a local man from the island of Kinmen took 1st place for the men. Seems that living and training close to the ocean helps out when it comes to triathlons.

Meanwhile, two men proposed to their girlfriends when they reached the finish line. Moved by their love, the management of West Lake Resortopia offered the two couples free admission to the recreation park for the rest of their lives.

Run a triathlon, get engaged, and free admission for life? Not bad for a Sunday afternoon.
