AXE Party in Taipei @ Room 18
People are familiar with the AXE brand of men's body spray and deodorants thanks to their sexually charged advertising campaigns. As a tech blogger, I rarely get the chance to hang with the "cool" kids, but my friend Peter invited me to an AXE event a while back and I was granted temporary access to the inner circle. AXE had rented out all of Room 18 here in Taipei to promote their line of body sprays while local athletes and models attended as brand ambassadors.
Then girls in bikinis laid down on mats, were covered in oil, and some dudes ran and slid across them. It was pretty funny and I'm sure the girls were happy to hit the showers afterwards. Then everyone went over to the dance floor in the larger room and started to enjoy the music. With the staged activities out of the way, everyone started to loosen up and the amateur models shook their booties for the cameramen surrounding the dance floor.
Word on the street is that AXE is holding another event tonight at Luxy...if I mange to get any good photos I'll post them up on here.
